Participate in Research

Your Role in Research

Research studies need volunteers to understand Kawasaki disease. Although participating in a research study may not be possible for all KD patients, current research studies need your help. By enrolling in a study you can help accelerate breakthroughs in Kawasaki disease treatment. To get you started, the Foundation offers a list of active research studies. Please read the information below to see if you qualify, and please consider enrolling in a research study.

Since my diagnosis 26 years ago, there have been many new KD discoveries, but the cause as well as a tried and true treatment has not been found. In order to make strides in KD research, participants are needed. I personally have volunteered for any Kawasaki Disease study that has been offered that I have been eligible as a way to help further research.
