About the KDF Bridges Program

Kawasaki Disease Foundation Bridges Program

The KDF Bridges program connects families dealing with Kawasaki disease (KD) with trained Support Volunteers. These volunteers are typically parents of children who have had KD or adult patients who have recovered from KD. They undergo screening and training by experienced support professionals. The role of the Support Volunteer is to offer personal insight to help families cope with KD. Bridges was developed to achieve our goal of providing support to families facing a KD diagnosis.
