Participate in the Adult KD Study as a Control Participant!

No history of Kawasaki disease required.

Participants can enroll via email and complete a questionnaire, with the option of a blood draw. Your participation can help researchers understand KD better.

Help Advance Our Mission

The KDF operates as a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization, funded primarily by generous donations and supported by dedicated volunteers. Your contributions play a crucial role in financing impactful programs that advance our mission.

“Throughout 2013, countless families from across the country held fund raisers and donated to KD research to support the development of a diagnostic test. As a result of the generosity of our donors, we made a $100,000 grant to the Kawasaki Disease Research Center at the University of California San Diego to grow and support a Kawasaki Disease biorepository.”

While strides have been made in KD research, we need more answers. Not only do we want to know the cause of KD, but we also need to know the long-term outcome of all kids who have contracted KD, whether they had visible heart damage or not. We will not rest.
