If your child has had a fever for at least five days, together with two or more of the symptoms listed above, ask your doctor whether he or she could have Kawasaki disease.

Kawasaki disease is a serious illness that causes inflammation in the coronary artery wall. If left unrecognized and untreated, it could cause serious damage to the heart. Highly effective treatment for Kawasaki disease is available.
